New Surgeons Meet Up: There will be a designated location for new surgeons to meet up and mingle at the start of the reception.

Women in Cosmetic Surgery Breakfast Session

The Women in Cosmetic Surgery (WiCS) Section is a special interest section within the AACS open to any AACS member. The goal of the WiCS Section is to enable women surgeons to develop their individual potential as professionals and promote an environment within the AACS that fosters inclusion, respect, and success.
Join us to hear the personal story and journey of Andrea Moreira, MD, a cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive breast surgeon from Pittsburgh specializing in the use of advanced techniques in breast resensation. Following an interesting talk and Q&A, you will enjoy a facilitated small discussion group on the topics of “Owning Your Own Business: Challenges and Advice,” and “Work-Life Balance: Things I Would Differently.” The WiCS Committee developed the WiCS Breakfast Session to be inspirational, educational, and foster friendships and connections.
All are welcome. We encourage attendees to wear purple for this event. Purple badge ribbons will be distributed during the session.
